Sky Lake is an artificial lake with 368m in altitude, located under Huru Spring of Qingyuan Mountain (original Zize Cave). Nowhere else can one find a better place than here to look down at Quanzhou City and look up at the mountain. There used to be a Fangxian Bridge, which ancient people believed to visit the celestials by crossing this bridge. The cliff of the dam has the Song Dynasty stone inscriptions of “Zize Dongtian” (Zize Cave) and “Zize Dongtian Beiji” (tablet inscription of Zize Cave).
